At the age of just 21, Jérome Berg founded his label in 2012. With only 18 years he moved to Berlin, where he first gained experience with several fashion labels until he was attracted by being self-employed. "I always wanted to create something of my own," he says.

A lot's happened since then: The creations of Jérome Studio have become an integral part of Instagram - especially the "Sash Tote" turned into a social media star. The main reason for the success on this channel is that the designs are minimalist enough to blend in with any outfit without taking the show away from the wearer. There is no need for huge logos, instead the label name is discreetly engraved in every product. The bags are also modern and special enough to radiate that certain extra touch that makes an IT bag. And: In contrast to the competitors, you can even afford the bags of this label.
It's a reduced range. At irregular intervals it is extended by a few timeless models in classic colours. There is no seasonal work here; as soon as a model is developed, it is offered for sale. The handmade bags are produced in small quantities.

Leather without a guilty conscience
To ensure this, all Jérome Studio products are made of soft Italian nappa leather. The tanning process with mineral, vegetable olive leaf tanning is environmentally friendly. It is obtained from olive tree leaves, which are usually burned directly after the olive harvest. The entire waste of the tanning process is completely recyclable.
The rest of the production takes place in Germany. The seal "Made in Germany" guarantees quality, but also means that European labour law is respected. Thus the probably coolest bags of the country can be carried completely without a bad conscience.
