The love for cashmere made the two Hamburg designers Dorothee Dade and Brigitte Lohr found their own label in 2012. They choose Petit Calin, "small embrace", as a name. And this is how the soft, smooth designs of the brand really feel like on your skin!

Certified Cashmere from Europe

The reason is the carefully selected material. Petit Calin works with exceptionally high-quality yarns from renowned traditional companies in Scotland and Italy. They belong to the trade association of certified cashmere suppliers, who attach great importance to the careful selection of the best fibers and also carry out a special control of all production processes.

The knitting label lovingly turns them into cozy hats, scarves, and capes for women and men. It offers a wide range of colors, including the classic shades of grey, beige, and taupe as well as seasonal highlight colors. And upon request, organic cashmere in special colors that are dyed in the most environmentally friendly way.

Traditional craftsmanship in an own manufactory

Petit Calin is one of the few brands that still have all their items manufactured in Germany. Thanks to its own workshop in Hamburg, the label can guarantee that all labor standards are met. Experienced knitters work here, producing small editions in traditional handicraft. A special focus is placed on a particularly environmentally friendly production: energy is used economically and only zero-waste designs are chosen.

As a final step, a small label with an integrated serial number is sewn into each cashmere item. It makes every article an unmistakable unique piece that you will wish to keep forever.
